HISTORY OF THE MINISTRY

The Word is God Worship Center was founded through the leading of the Holy Spirit on December 25th 1989 in Pastor Lamar Beverly-Davis' living room. We thank God that Pastor hearkened to the voice of God along with his loving wife Pastor Denise Beverly-Davis. The ministry then moved to Martin Luther King Drive and from there God moved us to 3320 West Vliet Street, where we are currently reaching out to God's people through various ministries within the ministry.
